ok actually good news. it's in the game already and I forgot.
if you go to options > controls, in the "aim x" and "aim y" sections, there's a little box next to the corresponding bind on mouse/controller. click on that box and a little "reverse" icon will show up. that axis is now inverted.

Will you please update this game with Invert Look? I have friends that really want to check out this game but can't without such crucial mechanics.

Oh, that's good to know! Although I admit it's a bit unintuitive. Could a more direct and clear option be included with the next patch?
